Hotel Stadt Emmerich

My first Question on my trip was ‘Is there a place to safely store my bycycle’ and here we had a firm yes. The young man at reception was welcoming (and generous enough to tolerate my English only questions). A nice room with all the facilities one would expect. I was able to order an evening meal in the delightful beer garden. Food was excellent and I enjoyed my first fine German beer as the sun set in the west. Colour me happy. Breakfast? Well I can only describe this as sumptuous. A feast that set me up for a day's cycle ride. As a cyclist I was pleased to see an Aldi supermarket a few doors from the hotel which allowed me to purchase supplies for a picnic. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Within easy access of town and car parking is provided. Meals were again excellent and reasonably priced. Room was very well serviced.

It was a beautiful historic building, with lovely dining room and a relaxing beer garden. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. The food was amazing - rump steaks, potatoes and delicious starters, especially the fried camembert.

Very good hotel with secure bicycle storage. The room was comfortable and we had everything we needed. A really good buffet breakfast. 10 minutes walking distance to restaurants etc.
